A 24 year old Libra, singer, songwriter, and creative visionary, Jaygo blends raw island energy with universal soundscapes, carving a distinct identity that echoes far beyond his homeland.

Born and raised in Antigua, Jaygo’s artistry is deeply rooted in his cultural heritage. Surrounded by the vibrant sounds of calypso, reggae, soca, and dancehall, he was drawn to music from an early age, recognizing it not only as a form of entertainment, but as a tool for storytelling, healing, and resistance. His earliest musical influences ranged from regional icons like Vybz Kartel, Sean Paul and Machel Montano, to global artists such as Bruno Mars, Bob Marley, Rihanna and Drake—each contributing to the evolution of his unique style.

Jaygo’s journey into the music industry began with raw freestyles and independent recordings, earning him a reputation as one of the most authentic voices of his generation. He honed his skills in local studios, community showcases, and regional festivals, quickly gaining recognition for his lyrical depth, vocal versatility, and undeniable stage presence.

Jaygo’s sound cemented further during his time at the prestigious Norman Manley Law School, Kingston, Jamaica where he graduated with high honours. While pursuing his legal studies, the artiste—also a practicing Private Attorney specializing in Intellectual Property rights, Civil and Criminal litigation—found himself deeply immersed in Jamaican culture. This period not only broadened his perspective but also ignited a renewed passion for Caribbean music, enriching his artistic identity with fresh influences and deeper regional appreciation.

His sound is an eclectic fusion—anchored in Caribbean rhythm but shaped by global genres such as R&B, hip-hop, and Afrobeat. Whether delivering high-energy anthems or soul-baring ballads, Jaygo possesses an innate ability to connect with audiences, channeling emotion, experience, and expression into every verse.
